Datsko Mar 10, 2022, 10:48 AM: In the meantime, MS Paint and ADHD have helped me break down one frame of your Mystery of Sarah video to some of its component lines. There are so many in that image, rectilinear and otherwise, and the contrasts are really striking!
Kitty Mar 11, 2022, 12:05 PM: This is exactly what I want for Leggenda. People taking their own interpretations from work and further creating from it. Especially since it all started with another person giving me a word to instigate the whole thing. Beautiful. This whole thing relates to another article I was reading about the ecstasy of influence throughout the ages (as well as the whole absurd concept of copyright and appropriation). The image you drew is dear to me in the way that it captures what I am interpreting as the energy lines operating behind the piece and the moment. Like a trail of light (phrase stolen from Sir Richard Burton, the poet, not the actor...) left behind a lived moment in time. It can also be seen as the neutral architectural structure under something soft, moving, and emotional (my film). I'm feeling that the reverberations I'm stumbling into via what you stumbled into through my piece may relate to what I was planning for my next Leggenda submission.
