May is the month I find myself traveling around the area taking pictures for money at colleges and taking pictures for myself at the hotels they put me up in. Endlessly fascinated by living spaces, these hotels are the best part of the job. This year I stayed in Fergus Falls, MN, Wadena, MN, La Crosse, WI, and Eau Claire, WI. Some hotels are sterile and some are sleazy. The room in Fergus Falls was on the ground floor and had no curtains.
